Crispin has spent more than two decades at the forefront of legal market reform. He was part of the founding team and deputy CEO of the Legal Services Board, where the alternative business structure (ABS) framework was designed from scratch, and later served as Executive Director of the SRA, leading ABS implementation and cutting the rulebook from around 800 pages to roughly 100.
Juliet Oliver, Founder & Managing Director
Juliet was General Counsel and Deputy Chief Executive of the SRA, overseeing every major reform for over a decade, including the introduction of the ABS framework and new Standards and Regulations. She brings deep expertise in regulatory strategy, governance, compliance, COLP/COFA roles, anti-money-laundering and SRA enforcement, and cross regulatory expertise.
She currently serves as Deputy Chair of the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. A regular contributor to national and international conferences, Juliet leads on legal-sector regulatory strategy, SRA regulation, governance and policy.

Alex Roy, Financial Services Regulation
Before joining EY, he spent eight years at the FCA, where he led policy across banking, payments, insurance, retail investment and communication and disclosures. While at the FCA he also led the team that developed the FCA's 2017 Mission. Before the FCA, he was Head of Development and Research at the Legal Services Board. Alex leads the firm's financial services regulatory practice.

Patrick was previously Director of strategy at the Legal Services Commission and Deputy Director for Civil and Family Justice Policy at the Ministry of Justice.. Outside of the legal field, he has an interest and involvement in independent regulation of the press.
